A couple of people were in the park-a grandma enjoying her grandson’s spontaneous play, and a young girl seated on a bench further inside the park, playing with broken tiles. I spotted a bench inside a make-shift park-basically, an empty lot. The heat, mixed with my endless walking, had caught up to me. ![]()
